I absolutely loved taking this class. Tayja is a phenomenal teacher. I’ve already signed up for more workshops.

Ring making class was so much fun. Winona is an excellent teacher!! Made a lovely practice ring—which I thought would turn out kinda funky as a fist project but it’s gorgeous. Then made an astonishingly beautiful (and reportedly Super comfortable) replacement wedding band for my husband for Valentine/anniversary gift. Bonus: I learned how to slightly enlarge and embellish my wedding and engagement rings which no longer fit well. Made 2 lovely pieces and improved 2–So I’m 4 rings richer! Such a talented teacher—guided the whole class expertly. Can’t wait to take more classes here.

Winona is an amazing teacher who goes above and beyond. The facilities are well kept and organized. This class has been so much fun and I look forward to the next one!

Tayja was lovely and informative. What I would suggest is someone to sweep the stairs and studio on a regular basis and have assigned open studio times.

This was a great class. Arielle is an organized and clear instructor (and just a nice human being 😊), the techniques were interesting and everyone got a LOT of hands-on time. I was able to get started, learn from my mistakes and try out a bunch of different things. Extremely rewarding, esp given it was only a two day class!

Arielle is an exceptional instructor who has taught me so much over the years, and this class was no exception. I’ll take more classes at 9020, especially if she’s teaching.

We took the Beginning Metalsmithing I class with Tayja, and it was wonderful! She is knowledgeable and a wonderful teacher and human being, and there was lots of personalized attention and freedom to pursue the projects you are interested in! The studio is well equipped and full of interesting tools to use. Would highly recommend this class for anyone who is interested in metalsmithing or creating unique objects for yourself or others.

Ninety Twenty Studios is a wonderful and creative place to take a weekend workshop or a weekly class. The teachers are all very knowledgeable and passionate about Metalsmithing. They offer a wide variety of classes and beginner classes! It is the perfect place to try your hands at Metalsmithing without the regular cost. They provide the tools, equipment and most supplies to have a fun filled class that makes you want to come back time and time again! I would highly recommend taking classes here! You won't be disappointed l!

I really enjoyed this class! I had never melted metal and used a cuttlefish form to create a unique piece and it was easy and great fun. I have done metalsmithing classes over the years but always remained a little shy of flames. This class helped me become very comfortable with lighting and using torches. Small class size and great instruction from our teacher. I fully recommend!

This is where the OCAC metals studio relocated! Long love the spirit of OCAC. Full jewelry studio that offers classes and workshops AND/OR. You can rent the jewelry studio to have a private maker party or go it on your own.

The Band Ring workshop was amazing! Perfect balance of lecture/demonstration and hands-on independent work time. Winona is an excellent, patient, and knowledgeable teacher.

This was a really great course. I learnt so much and had a really fun weekend.

I am on a maker’s high. The weekend Beginner Band Rings workshop was absolutely amazing. Winona is a great and approachable teacher. She is very willing to help you work through any questions that arise, she also is great at balancing allowing you to be hands on and work on your own designs, but has the ability to hold your hand just when you need it - the perfect blend! Would highly recommend this class and may even consider doing it again!
